Better Movement.
Better Healing.
Better Life.
At Fur Ability, we help pets move better, feel better, and live fuller lives.
Based in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia, we provide expert, evidence-based rehabilitation for animals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, living with maladaptive pain or building strength and resilience.
Founded in 2020 as a canine conditioning service, Fur Ability has grown into a full-service rehabilitation clinic serving the Maritimes. We work closely with veterinarians to complement your pet’s ongoing care—reducing pain, restoring mobility, and supporting long-term wellness.
How we work
We work in partnership with you and your veterinarian to craft tailored treatment plans that support the entire body – not just the injury. Every session takes place in a quiet, low-stress setting designed around your animal’s comfort and confidence.
Fur Ability delivers professional animal rehabilitation and conditioning at our Elmsdale clinic so expert care is never out of reach.

Our Clinic
Our 900 sq. ft. rehabilitation clinic in Elmsdale is fully equipped with non-slip flooring and specialized rehabilitation tools. Designed with comfort and accessibility in mind, the clinic offers easy entry for pets with mobility challenges and a calm, low-stress environment.
We schedule staggered appointments to reduce noise and traffic, provide longer appointment times when needed to allow proper acclimatization, and have separate entry doors for patients who find other animals stressful.
Most importantly, our clinic is filled with patience, compassion, and plenty of love, attention, and treats to help every patient feel safe, comfortable, and confident during their visit.
