At Fur Ability, we work closely with referring veterinarians to provide safe, evidence-based rehabilitation and conditioning. Whether you’re supporting a patient post-surgery or managing chronic mobility issues, we’re here to complement your care.
Step 1: Submit a Referral
After assessing the animal, please complete the online referral form with supporting records including medical notes, diagnostics and second opinion medial notes
Step 2: Client Coordination
Once the form is received, we will create a file and we’ll contact your client within a week to book their initial appointment and collect any necessary intake information.
Step 3: Ongoing Communication
After every session, we share:
- Treatment notes and clinical observations
- Updates on progress toward goals
- Recommendations for ongoing or supportive care
If the patients condition changes, we will communicate with you to discuss the best treatment path given the findings.
Step 4: Collaborative Support
Not sure if a patient is a good candidate for rehab? We’re happy to review records, discuss cases, and advise on suitability—even before a formal referral.
